The sampling department of the shop is equipped with four semi-automatic devices. The model composition used to producte modelling moulds is made directly at the plant. To glow ceramic moulds the shop uses 5 stoves of the chamber type. Castings are made of carbon structural, low-alloyed ones, heat-resistance steels. Castings weight varies from 15 grams up to 2,3 kg with high precision of dimensions and with high surface of smoothness. High quality of surface of castings is provided by lixiviation and shot blasting. The department capability is 320 tons of good castings per year.
